Your coverage begins on the first of the month after you enroll in the Aetna Medicare Advantage plan.

A Medicare Advantage plan provides you with the benefits of Original Medicare Part A (hospital insurance), Original Medicare Part B (medical insurance), and Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage through SilverScript), as well as added health and wellness benefits at no extra cost.

Your PPO plan gives you the freedom to see any licensed provider, as long as they are eligible to receive Medicare payment and accept your plan. Plus, you won’t pay more to see an out-of-network provider.
Over 1 million network doctors and specialists and over 4 thousand network hospitals accept the Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan. No referrals are required to see a specialist.
Your prescription drug coverage is provided through SilverScript Employer Prescription Drug Plan and sponsored by Dow.
You have the option to choose a primary care physician, or PCP. Choosing a primary care physician is not required but is recommended to help you best manage your overall health.
With your Aetna Medicare Advantage plan, you can also expect to pay a lower premium each month. But keep in mind that your monthly premium does not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
Your plan costs work together to help you save on both in and out-of-network services. You can expect to pay lower out-of-pocket costs, which means more affordable care all around.
As an Aetna Medicare Advantage member, you have access to telemedicine services and a 24-hour nurse line. You can also choose to participate in our Healthy Home Visit program and have a licensed doctor or nurse come to your home. Plus, you can access a licensed therapist or board-certified psychiatrist by phone or video appointment through the MD LIVE® program.
Your added benefits also include a gym membership or access to online fitness classes through the SilverSneakers® fitness program, the Resources for Living referral program, hearing aid coverage, and the Aetna Healthy Rewards program, where you can earn gift cards for completing certain health screenings.
